For your vehicle’s Air Suspension System to perform to its full potential, many different advanced components need to work together. If one of your vehicle’s Air Suspension Components is not working correctly it can affect the entire Air Suspension System’s performance.

Air Suspension Components can sometimes be extremely sensitive and need to be installed with the corresponding specialized tools and diagnostic software. Most generic diagnostic software programs that do not come from the original vehicle’s manufacturer do not meet the necessary diagnosis and installation requirements for your Air Suspension System.

It seems easy to replace Air Suspension Parts however, looks can be deceiving. In many cases it is indispensable to program the Air Suspension Part into the vehicle’s system while making sure all other Air Suspension Components are in good working condition. If Air Suspension Parts are installed incorrectly in can damage the part or the system itself. Our Air Suspension Products are extensively tested before they leave our premises. That is why we always recomend the work is performed by an experienced installer. When installing our Air Suspension Parts, you must make sure that all other components of the system are working properly. This will ensure your vehicle’s Air Suspension System is working at its optimal performance level.

Air Suspension Systems:

Air Suspension Systems diagnosis and repair is still considered to be very complicated by most Garage Repair Shops. Often, mechanics are forced to use an expensive diagnostic devices and tools in order to diagnose and repair any Air Suspension Problem. Diagnosing and repairing Air Suspension Systems without the proper tools can be extremely time consuming and complicated.

Air Suspension Systems diagnosis software determines a problem within a few minutes. As an Air Suspension Specialist, we get many inquiries from independent workshops and end customers when they need help identifying Air Suspension Error Codes. Once an Air Suspension Error Code has been displayed by the diagnostic device, there is a clear procedure that the car manufacturer has documented in order to repair the system. However, it is well known that not every Error Code correctly interprets the actual problem. This can result in unnecessary costs for the customer, such as replacement of non-defective parts and further workshop costs. That is why some  independent workshops do not like to get involved in Air Suspension Repair. In many cases, our experience has enabled us to quickly help solve the problem by providing information, advise and guidance in order to correctly identify the problem and the solution.

Authorized dealers / workshops are also allowed to install alternative products.  When you take your vehicle to an Authorized Dealer Service Center, they will always give you repair quotes using OEM ( Original Equipment Manufacturer) Parts.  OEM parts can be very expensive if you buy them directly from the Dealership.

Authorized Dealer Service Centers are also allowed to install alternate parts so always inquire about alternate part options and do your research. Here at Messier Automotive we are the only company that simultaneously offers self-developed products, refurbished original spare parts and OEM parts at a fraction of Dealership costs. Some dealership or installers do not allow you to bring in your own replacement parts and say the parts can only be purchased by them in order to provide you with a warranty. If this is the case Dealerships are also authorized to buy from us directly simply give them our information and show them the part you wish to install in your vehicle and they contact us directly. You do not need to worry about liability because the Dealership offers the service Warranty and Messier Automotive offers the Air Suspension Part Warranty you will be covered both ways.

Automobile Replacement Part Sales Legal Aspects:

The European Commission Motor Vehicle Block Exemption Regulation (Kfz-Gruppenfreistellungsverordnung, GVO) regulates the free trade in automotive replacement parts and the ability of selling original and remanufactured parts both in the independent and branded trade. This avoids a monopoly position of the vehicle manufacturers as the sole distributors of automotive replacement parts, which ultimately promotes competition and benefits the consumer. The BER regulates the different forms of distribution and at the same time defines the characteristics of automotive replacement parts, which are used for the classification into the respective terms.

Explanation of the Commission Regulation (EC) No. 1400/2002 of 31 July 2002, art. 1 par. 1:

Our products from AMK , Bilstein, Continental, Corteco, Dunlop, ETO, Firestone, RAPA, Staiger and WABCO may be called original spare parts, since they come from the same manufacturer and are of the same quality as the components that are/were used for the assembly of the new vehicle. They are manufactured according to the same specifications and production requirements given by the motor vehicle manufacturer for the production of the components or spare parts of the motor vehicle in question. The old term "identical part": according to the latest legislation, the term identical part has become obsolete; these parts are now also referred to as original parts.

"Replica parts" are produced by a motor vehicle parts manufacturer who, along with that product, is not also a supplier to the vehicle manufacturer for whose model the specific replica part fits. The replica part is based on the original or identical part and fulfills its function. In Germany, the reproduction of car parts is generally permitted. These spare parts are therefore "qualitatively equivalent replacement parts". Exchange parts (AT parts) are car parts that have been restored to new condition by machining and that correspond to the quality of a new part. In our description also called "refurbished or remanufactured replacement part".
