In many cases, a malfunction indicator on the dashboard indicates a problem. You can tell if it is just a leak if the level is maintained while driving, but drops after a certain time after you have parked the vehicle

The term OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) means that a spare part goes through the same production line as when you purchase an original spare part from the car manufacturer.

The OE number (Original Equipment) stands for a part number that allows the allocation between spare part and car.  In the aftermarket, the specification of an OE number is only a reference to be able to assign the spare part. In many cases, however, the scope of supply is much lower than that of the car manufacturer.

In short, PR stands for primary equipment. PR codes are therefore primary equipment codes. They consist of three digits and letters, such as 1AE, and provide information at a glance about all the components installed. They are used exclusively by the VAG Group, i.e. Volkswagen, Audi, Seat and Skoda.

The existing components and parts in a single vehicle can be installed in multiple combinations. Therefore, the PR numbers are an excellent way to briefly and concisely present the respective primary equipment combination.

Where can I find them?
In addition to the vehicle identification number, the paint number and the engine and transmission code, the PR numbers are usually recorded on the vehicle's data carrier (also known as the service data carrier), a white or silver sticker that can be found in the trunk, usually in the recess of the spare wheel. The PR codes can also be found on the first pages of the service booklet.

All parts are shipped directly from our Germany warehouse to you. Because of that, all parts are subject to an Import Tax. This Import Tax can vary depending on the part type and declared value, and the percentage depends on the part type. Please be advised that the Import Tax is not included in the purchase price of this part, and the Buyer is responsible for this cost once they received the part.
